I read an interesting article about how the Islam religion believes that the Messiah of the Jewish faith, Jesus Christ,  is in fact
the antithesis to the god Yahweh.  The point made is that this:  That this Jesus is in fact the anti-Christ (?) in that he places himself in the position of the only god, and as a god himself.  Now my understanding of the Christian mythology doesn't support this but it is true that the current Christian trend is to make this character out to be a God.  As part of a trinity of one he is therefore one, and one of, god.  He certainly fills some of the requirements of the end times liar.  He claims to be a bringer of peace yet his adherents cause death in his name. His adherents positon him as the one true god. He is the only way to salvation as he is the forgiver of sins.

These are the very attributes that are warned about in the book of Revelations.

I write this because I was brought up to believe in the Christian tradition and myth as if it were real.  I did all that I believed was right according to the rules set out by the church.  As I grew older I found out that doing what was 'good' like turning the other cheek, not judging others, being humble only caused pain, humiliation and embarrassment.

Then a little older I discovered that the books of the bible weren't written by anyone who even knew this character Jesus.  And even more incredibly that the books were written 25-70 years after his death.  Then I learned that most of the events, towns and culture in the books were fiction.

What a sore disappointment and loss of so many years of my life believing in someone else's false testimony.
